JAMMU, May 29: Nirankari Charitable Foundation today organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Domana.
Devotees of the Mission participated in this camp to spread the message of Baba Hardev Singh ji that “Blood should flow in veins and not in drains”. As many as 170 volunteers came forward and donated about 111 units of blood.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Zone 1, inaugurated the camp. The camp was attended by several dignitaries including Dr Kajal from Blood Bank, GMC Jammu, RC Puri, Regional Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Sansar Chand, Sanyojak Akhnoor and several prominent citizens of the town.
The blood camp was held in collaboration with Blood and Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
