SURAT (GUJARAT), Nov 29: BJP cadre is visibly upbeat with second public rally by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today at Navsari, Surat within an interval of just 48 hours.
This was stated here today by Union Minister and BJP Election “Sah-Prabhari”, Dr Jitendra Singh, who said, this is a rare privilege for the people of Surat region and also a reflection of Prime Minister’s sensitive concern for all sections of society in South Gujarat. From today onwards, he said, this is going to be a one – sided contest with BJP heading for a landslide electoral victory in South Gujarat, particularly Surat.
The people of South Gujarat, especially Surat, Dr Jitendra Singh said, are highly progressive and forward – looking with a wide exposure. Therefore, he said, when they decide to throw their entire weight behind BJP, this is a loud and clear message not only for Gujarat but for whole of India, reiterating that only a BJP dispensation guided by Narendra Modi can protect the stakes of aspiration, growth and business.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, the manner in which people from far and wide are thronging the venue to attend Narendra Modi’s rallies, is itself a testimony to his rising graph, increasing popularity and growing credibility. This should also be, a message for the opposition leaders who, in vain, seek to derail Modi’s development agenda through personal taunts and jibes, he added.
Gujarat has witnessed revolutionary transformation under Narendra Modi, said Dr Jitendra Singh, and added that people of Gujarat are mature enough not to let this march of caravan get disrupted or distracted. If Congress really wants to compete with BJP, he said, it will have to fall in line and follow the BJP agenda and accept Modi as its leader.
