Bhim Singh invites Pratibha Patil to lead Rashtra Chetna Abhiyan

JAMMU, May 22: Chief patron of National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh called on former President of India Pratibha Devisingh Patil and urged her to lead the civil society in the country for Rashtra Chetna Abhiyan (National Awakening Movement) to create awareness about the role of the civil society on the burning national and international issues related to the country’s development and social uprising.
Prof Bhim Singh said that the drug culture, violence, hatred and corruption are some of the grave issues threatening the civil society and the composite culture in the Country.
Prof Singh has decided to undertake another yatra around India as a part of Rashtra Chetna Abhiyan by the end of this year. Rashtra Chetna Yatra from Kargil to Kanyakumari and Kanyakumari to Kashmir were undertaken by Prof Bhim Singh and his associates which took 65 days for its completion.
While speaking, Former President of India assured that she will try to reach upto Delhi in connection with this initiative to promote the composite cultural bonds.
