JAMMU,  Jan 6: J&K National Panthers Party (NPP) supremo and senior executive member of Supreme Court Bar Association Prof Bhim Singh has condemned the statement of Aam Adami Party  leader Prashant Bhushan regarding referendum in J&K and seeking withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act from the State.
In  a press statement issued today, Prof Bhim Singh sought an explanation from the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on the policy of his party. The NPP leader pointed out that Parshant Bhushan has chosen the January 5, 2014 to make this statement as the UNCIP had served a resolution on this day  in 1948 asking for referendum in J&K.  He said that the AAP leaders forgot the second part of the resolution of the UNICIP that Pakistan was directed to vacate all occupied territories of J&K which included Gilgitt, Chitral, Baltistan and the PoK (what Pakistan calls Azad Kashmir), before going for referendum.
Prof Singh said Mr Kejriwal must come out clear on the issue whether his party supports referendum in Jammu and Kashmir or not. He alleged that this is treasonable statement  and deserves condemnation by all nationalist  and patriotic people. Referring to the allegations made by BJP terming AAP as `B team’ of Congress, Bhim Singh alleged that Kejriwal’s party appears to be `A team’ of  Hurriyat Conference.
