JAMMU, Aug 19: Special Municipal Magistrate Jammu, V S Bhou has ordered that the cases for correction/entry of Birth and Death (B&D) shall be dealt with by the Registrar Vital Statistics, Jammu within the ambit of Section 15 without referring them either to the Medical Superintendent of any Government or private hospital.
The Special Municipal Magistrate made these observations while referring to a complaint on correction of death entries of a woman’s husband.
“It is observed that the cases of correction of entries of Birth and Death shall be dealt with by the Registrar Vital Statistics, Jammu without referring them to Medical Superintendent of any Government or private hospital and within the Municipal jurisdiction and also referring the aggrieves parties to the court’’, Mr Bhou said in his order.
