Srinagar, Jan 9: Dozens of aspiring wireless operators today staged a protest and sought implementation of court order with regard to release of their selection list in J&K Police Department.
The protesting operators said that their selection as wireless operators is lingering since 2008 and even after court order it has not been published. The aspirants sought attention of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and DGP Dr SP Vaid.
“We are facing lot of difficulties since several years. We are not stone-pelters and we want to earn our livelihood honorably. We appeal CM and DGP to personally intervene in our matter and provide us succor,” they added.
