JAMMU, Feb 23: Dr Abhinav Gupta, son of Ravinder Kumar Gupta has Brought laurels to J&K by becoming the only doctor from the entire country to get selected for the Robert Turner Clinical Research Course 2017 in Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism in Oxford London, starting from 19th March 2017.
Dr Abhinav Gupta is the first ever doctor from Jammu who has been selected for this course. This orientation course is conducted every year by Oxford and EASD ( European Association for the Study of Diabetes), for the Physicians below the age of 40yrs. Only 19 Physicians throughout the world have been selected for the course this year. The course theme commemorates Late Prof Robert Turner who carried out largest Clinical Research Trial into Diabetes (UKPDS).
Dr Abhinav Gupta is presently working as Assistant Prof in the PG Deptt of Internal Medicine ASCOMS Jammu.
