JAMMU, Mar 3:All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) held a function at Jagti today in which BJP MLC, Ramesh Arora was the chief guest.
The president of AMCCC, Desh Rattan Pandita highlighted various problems of migrants before the MLC and sought his intervention in their settlement.
The AMCCC demanded ambulance for the camp migrants and it should be under the supervision of the camp representatives, opening of two centers of Social Welfare Department at Jagti, opening of a cultural cum moral educational institute at Jagti in which besides cultural programmes religious knowledge will also be imparted to the students.
In his address Ramesh Arora said that he will sanction Rs three lakh for the school and take up the issues of camp inmates with the Government.
Others who spoke in the function included Daizy Bazaz, M M Kanth, Soom Nath Gurtoo, Ashok Bali, K V, B K Raina, B L Koul and M L Munshi.
