Army organizes ‘Paigame-e-Aman’ for Bandipore youths

CO, 27 RR (Maratha Li) flagging off Educational-cum-Motivational tour at Bandipore.

SRINAGAR, Oct 2: Army organized another Educational-cum-Motivational tour named ‘Paigame-e-Aman’ for the youth of far flung areas of Bandipore to Mumbai and Goa.
The tour being conducted by 27 Rashtriya Rifles (Maratha Li) Battalion under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo) was flagged off by Commanding Officer in presence of Military and civilian dignitaries.
CO during interaction with the youth urged them to make the most use of this opportunity and see the enormous development made by country.
The tour provides an exposure to the development, quality of life and knowledge of historical places of interest in the other parts of country, he said, adding that the tour will also instill a sense of awareness and national integration amongst the youth.
During the tour, the youth will be visiting Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves, Nehru Planetarium, Naval Dockyard, Indian Naval Ship, Chhatrapati Shivaji Sangrahalaya, Mumbai Natural History Society, Taraporewala Aquarium, Marine Drive, Juhu Chowpatty, Fashion Street and interaction with cine celebrities at Mumbai.
At Goa, the participants will visit Museum, Fort Aguada, Baga Beach, Calnute Beach, Bhagwan Mahavir wildlife Sanctuary, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Church and Convent of St Francis of Assisi, Sea Cathedral, Dolphin Trip and River Cruise on Mandvi River at Goa.
