Srinagar, Jan 14: With a view to provide a healing touch to the locals, a mega medical camp was organized by Army in collaboration with Health Department at Nehru Park in Dalgate area.
A defence spokesman said the medical camp was organized in the spirit to provide best heath care facilities and medical comfort to the people residing at Dalgate, Nehru Park and its nearby localities.
“Over 800 people were benefited from the exclusive medical care including provision for free medicine. The medical team along with doctors from Health Department worked together selflessly and rendered advice, care and treatment,” he said.
The spokesman said with the availability of a lady doctor, an overwhelming response was seen especially from the woman and girls of area. The medical camp provided the opportunity to the people to avail basic medical care, specialist medical care, necessary medicine for patients and preventive medical care for children.
