Army organizes career counseling

SRINAGAR, June 5: In an effort to reach out to the youth of the Valley, Army organized a Career Counseling and Guidance Workshop at Naidkhai on Monday for drop out students of schools and colleges.
An Army spokesman said that the workshop commenced with a motivational talk wherein the value of education was explained to the students through religious scripts by a Moulvi. It was followed by an interactive session where the teachers of different schools emphasized the importance of education and a good career.
The motivational speakers from a Delhi based NGO – Indo Global Social Service Society and a Bandipora based NGO – Stands for Kashmiri Youth, motivated the students and explained various career options available to them and helped them in making decisions for successful careers.
The speakers also emphasized on the importance of choosing the right path to bring happiness and glory to their parents. The workshop was attended by more than 100 students of the region and was successful in touching upon and guiding the youth of Naidkhai.
