RAJOURI, Jan 15: An Army jawan died under mysterious circumstances in his unit located in Rajouri sector today.
Sources said that Sepoy Aftab Alam, of 14 sector RR, was deployed at a forward location in Nowshera sector. He died inside his unit under mysterious circumstances. Later, the unit officials informed Nowshera police which took the body into custody and initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC. The body after conducting legal formalities was sent to his home town in Ambala.
