SRINAGAR, Apr 14: Army organized an interaction with villagers & elders at Lachippura today with the aim to understand their major concerns and patient hearing was given to all persons to project their issues.
An Army spokesman said that the villagers were also intimated about the upcoming recruitment rally and were urged to send maximum youth for registration.
He said the locals were told about the training being imparted to youth to facilitate their recruitment. “They were ensured that any assistance required by the youth will be extended by the Army. Moreover, the villagers were informed that to fast track the rehabilitation efforts towards the affected ones of the fire incident, close liaison is being maintained with the civil administration,” he said.
“The villagers applauded the sincere efforts of the Army towards the affected persons of fire incident and also in motivating the youth to join Army by getting their registration done as well as imparting training to them,” he added.
