RAMBAN, Sept 27: In yet another humanitarian effort, Army today organized a veterinary camp here at Buzla in collaboration with Animal Husbandry Department, Ramban.
The team of veterinary doctors was led by Dr Nazir Ahmed. The camp was focused on the livestocks of the Gujjars, Bakkarwals and local residents of Khari Tehsil.
Amongst others services and medical checkup of livestocks, various medicines were distributed. Facilities in the camp included infertility checkup, awareness about nutrition, general hygiene and sanitation and prevention of esoteric diseases. The locals flocked in large numbers with their animals.
