POONCH, Mar 26: Coming to the rescue of mine blast victims, Army provided cash compensation to two such victims of village Salotri.
As a humanitarian effort, Nangi Tekri Battalion presented cheques of Rs 1.5 Lakh each to two mine blast victims namely Mohd Aziz and Hakam Bi of Salotri village, as compensation for injuries suffered by them.
The cheques were presented to the victims at a ceremony held at Jhallas village. Prominent civilians including Manzur Hussain, Sarpanch, Jhallas village, were present on the occasion.
