RAJOURI, July 9: Angan-wadi workers and helpers from ICDS projects held protest demonstration at Tehsil complex , Nowshera today.
About 80 Anganwadi workers and helpers from various ICDS Centres in the Sub Division led by Sonika Sharma appeared at Tehsil complex, Nowshera and held strong protest demonstration. Later, they sat on protest dharna for about two hours. They were demanding release of their wages, hike in their remuneration and provision of promotional avenues. Later, they also submitted a memorandum to the ADC for the Governor N N Vohra demanding regularization of their services and hike in wages.
