JAMMU,  June 30: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) in a meeting held here, today held under the chairmanship of Desh Rattan Pandita its president has appealed the State Governor, N N Vohra to settle the long pending demands of the displaced Pandits including their permanent rehabilitation by taking their geo-political aspirations into consideration.
Rattan said that successive political governments in the State have failed to find out an ever lasting solution to the problems of exiled Pandits and they remained concentrated to their political constituencies by leaving this miniscule minority in lurch.
Extending full support to Governor’s rule AMCCC demanded that the Governor should dissolve the State Assembly as the coalition governments whether it was PDP-Congress earlier in 2003 to 2008 NC -Congress from 2008to 2014 and then PDP-BJP have done lot of harm to the people of State instead of doing any good to them. They instead of bridging the gap created a gulf among the communities and regions of the State for their vested interests thereby harming the national interests.
The meeting expressed the hope that the Governor’s administration will look into the wrongs done by the previous governments and take corrective measures to restore the confidence of people of all regions of the State as well as all communities including displaced Pandits and other minorities of the State.
