JAMMU, June 8: Akhil Bharatiya Kashyap Mahasang held a meeting under the chairmanship of its Supremo Chaman Lal Dogra.
In the meeting, the participants demanded implementation of 27 per cent reservation recommended by the Supreme Court for caste quota.
“We can’t forget the atrocities of the upper class on us and implementation of the reservation recommended by the Supreme Court is the need of the hour”, said Dogra.
He stated that the boys and girls of the lower class are already suffering a lot and their reservation of 27 per cent should not be given to other castes.
He said that 15 States are giving reservation to the people of OBC categories and appealed to the Prime Minister to look into the issue and redress it on priority basis.
