Ahead of Navratra festival, SSP Railways Katra reviews security arrangements

JAMMU, Mar 13: Ahead of Navratra festival, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Railways Katra Ranjit Singh Sambyal reviewed the security arrangements.
SSP inspected the railway track and infrastructure provided to the manpower deployed enroute the track from Katra to Udhampur through rail push trolley.
He was accompanied by SDPO Railways Katra, SHO GRP police station and concerned staff of Railway Department.
During the inspection, SSP Railways Katra checked the manpower deployed at the track and took stock of the measures being taken by them for the safety and security of railway track, tunnels and bridges.
Sambyal also checked the basic amenities including water, electricity and washrooms available for the deployed manpower.
He briefed the officers and officials deployed at the Railway Stations and track to perform their duties with punctuality and with dedication so as to avoid the possibility of any sabotage at the track by anti-national or anti-social elements.
