JAMMU, Sept 17: A meeting of executive committee of Aggarwal Sabha was held today regarding celebration of Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Agarsaen ji on September 28, 2014.
The meeting was held under the presidentship of president of the Sabha, Dewan Chand Bansal. It was decided in the meeting that in view of ongoing disaster (floods) which affected the State very badly, this year Agarsaen Jyanti would be celebrated in a simple manner.
General secretary of the Sabha, Anup Mittal informed the executive members of the Sabha that only Havan and Poojan would be performed while all other functions would be cancelled because of ongoing disaster of flood, which claimed many lives all over the State.
The Sabha also decided to provide relief material to the flood victims of the State.
Among others who attended the meeting were Jagdish Raj Aggarwal, Ram Niwas Aggarwal, Ram Avtar Aggarwal, Hans Raj Aggarwal, Hardeep Aggarwal, Naresh Aggarwal, Shanbhu Dayal Aggarwal, Mahavir Parsad, Jatinder Aggarwal, Ravinder Mittal, Surinder Bansal and Ajay Partap.
