JAMMU, Nov 29: Adbi Kunj today held a literary meet to remember prominent journalist of the State, late Om Parkash Saraf.
In the literary round up, Aarash Dalmotra read out an Urdu paper ‘Om Saraf-Jahan-E-Sahafat-Ka-Roshan-Sitara’ on late Om Saraf. In his remembering, Sham Talib said that Om Saraf was very kind to Adbi Kunj Jammu and visited many times on special occasions of the organization.
In multilingual poetic round, many poets Fozia Mughal Zia, Santosh Shah Nadan, Aarash Dalmotra, Dr Matloob Faridi, Masoom Kishtwari, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal, Sanjeev Kumar, MS Kamra, Rajeev Kumar, Chaman Sagoch and Sham Talib recited their Kalams to pay tribute to late Om Parkash Saraf.
In his vote of thanks, chairman of Adbi Kunj, Aarash Dalmotra, announced that Adbi Kunj Jammu will be organizing a special composite Mushaira on December 31 at its new hall in Rajpura Mangotrian on the occasion of New Year celebration.
Earlier, chairman of Adbu Kunj, Aarash Dalmotra and president, Sham Talib threw light on the various aspects of political and social life of Om Parkash Saraf and on his shining roll in journalism in the State.
