JAMMU, Jan 8: ABVP today take out a protest march outside Jammu University against the double standards of Jammu University in which students held the University responsible for the suppression of the student activism and promotion of main stream political ideology which talks about Plebiscite in the State.
Citing the programme of the day which was held today in Zorawar Singh Auditorium in which university authorities provided entry to the political parties in the campus, the ABVP activists said there are many instances in the past in which university has denied permission to the programmes organized by ABVP for martyrs of the country but now they are allowing entry of political parties in the campus.
The protesting students moved towards the office of the Vice Chancellor and raised slogans against him for his pro-separatist propagandas. ABVP State secretary, Deepak Gupta, mentioned that JU VC has failed to provide the adequate infrastructure as well as research scholar development in the University and when students protest against such dictatorship, University authorities suppress the voice of the students.
“ABVP strongly resents today’s act of JU VC for providing entry to political parties in the University campus and he should give justification for this”, he said, adding, ABVP will take this issue among the students and civil society.
