MENDHAR, May 16: The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Poonch, today attached seven employees of the Rural Development Department (RDD) and removed from the services one for their poor performance and remaining mostly absent from duty.
Official sources said that these Gram Rozgar Sevaks (GRS) were earlier issued warning by the ACD, Zubair Hussain Shah to enhance their performance and complete the task assigned within stipulated time frame. But after two weeks of time, again when he reviewed the progress he took action against them.
While seven GRS mostly from Mendhar and Mankote area were attached to the office of ACD in Poonch, another, GRS Rizban Ali Mir from Galuta Kangra Panchayat was removed from services. Seven other GRS against whom the action has been taken are, Mushtaq Ahmed GRS Ari, Asif Majid GRS Darana Upper, Mustafa Nawaz GRS from Galuta Kandi, Mohd Irfan Khan GRS from Gursai Harmutta and GRS Tammana Habiba from Saruti Panchayat.
