REASI, July 8: Police foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued seven animals besides arresting the smuggler, here today in Mahore.
On specific information, a police team headed by ASI Nazir Ahmed, I/C PP Dewal, laid a naka and intercepted the accused smuggler, who was carrying seven bovine animals towards Kashmir without valid permission.
The accused, identified as Mohd Yousef, son of Gullu of Angralla, Mahore intended to smuggle these bovine animals towards Kashmir.
Police rescued the animals ands arrested the accused smuggler. In this connection, a case FIR No. 46/2017 U/S 188 RPC was registered at P/S Mahore.
