SRINAGAR, Feb 2: To ensure attendance of employees in Government offices, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sumbal today made a surprise inspection of various offices.
During the inspection, SDM found 47 employees unauthorizedly absent from duty. Action under rules was initiated against the absentees.
On the occasion, SDM asked the employees to be punctual to their duties and address peoples’ grievances on priority so that they do not face any difficulty.
Meanwhile, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Muneer-ul-Islam, a team headed by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama today conducted surprise check of District Fund Office and found 22 officials unauthorizedly absent from their duties.
Accordingly, the absentees were placed under suspension with immediate effect and action will be taken under rules.
