SRINAGAR, June 5: Police arrested six gamblers and seized stake money of Rs 3400 from the gambling site in Handwara today.
A Police spokesman said that after acting on information regarding gambling in Martgam area, a police party of Police Post Langate headed by In-charge PP Langate, Jan Mohammad raided the gambling site.
He said during the raid, the police team arrested six gamblers and seized stake money of Rs 3400 from the gambling site. In this regard, a case FIR Number 228/2018 under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
