JAMMU, Oct 24: During the course of surprise visit of Director, CA&PD Department, Jammu alongwith Deputy Director (Food/Rationing) to the interior areas of Surinsar and Mansar today, 2 private ration dealer namely Balbir Singh of Khana Chargail and Ramesh Singh of Aitham were immediately placed under suspension for violation of various provisions of PDS Control Order 2001 read with J&K Ration Order.
Besides, 2 retail K. Oil dealers of Khanna Chargal and another one Sudesh of Mansar were placed under suspension with immediate effect for non-adherence of Government instructions.
Further, Balwan Singh, Salesman of Government Sales Depot Surinsar was placed under suspension for non-production of records pertaining to receipt and distribution of PDS ration.
Director CA&PD, Jammu has warned the private ration dealers as well as retain K. Oil dealers to open their depots in time and adhere to the instructions issued from time to time in this regard.
