JAMMU, Mar 15: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid and rescued 5 cattle.
As per police sources, during checking at Daskal Morh, a team from Akhnoor police station intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registered number JK02BL-1896.
During checking, police rescued 5 bovine animals from the vehicle, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 49/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
