POONCH, Apr 9: Four persons were injured one of them seriously when a tractor met with an accident in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when tractor was carrying mixer-machine to village Kandi- Galuta where labourers had to lay slab of a house. The tractor rolled down along with mixer on from the road causing injuries to four persons including driver and mixer operator.
The injured were rushed to Primary Health Centre Dhar Galoon. They were identified as Gafoor Ahmed (25), son of Mohd Yunis, resident of Kandi Galuta; Kalu (28), son of Palwan, resident of MP and at present Dhar Galoon; Mohd Shafeeq (30), son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Naloi Kandi and Mohd Sagir (30), son of Mohd Wazir, resident of Kandi Galuta. Seriously injured, Mohd Shafeeq was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
