2 sons of renowned Dogri poet deprived of property rights

SAMBA, May 8: Two sons of renowned Dogri poet Keher Singh Madhukar today alleged that they have been deprived of the fundamental rights and have not been given any right on the property of their late father.
Talking to reporters at Vijaypur near here today, the two brothers Sidhdev Singh Salathia and Ganesh Singh Salathia said that they were putting up at SOS Home Channi and their father’s house at village Rakh Baroi in Samba district has been locked by some one and they are not allowed to unlock the house and reside there.
The two sons who have crossed the 18 years and 17 years of age respectively said that their name does not exist in revenue records and they face difficulties in getting the same included in the records. They said that only proof with them that they are the sons of late poet is the school certificates.
In an appeal to district administration as well as the Government they urged it take an initiative in this regard and restore their rights to them.
