JAMMU, Mar 18: Bus Stand police arrested two snatchers.
As per police sources, a complaint was filed by Shafaqat Ali, a resident of Gandoh, District Doda with Police Station Bus Stand stating that two persons snatched Rs 4500 cash and other documents.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 20/18 under Section 382 and 34 RPC was registered at Bus Stand Police Station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Bus Stand Police Station arrested both the snatchers, who have been identified as Amit Baloria and Kaku Singh, a resident of Gole Pulli, Talab Tillo.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other snatching cases.
Police team led by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Varun Jandial, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
