2 KP organisations to field candidates

JAMMU, Mar 16: Two Kashmiri Pandit organizations have decided to field their candidates in by elections of two Parliamentary Constituencies in Kashmir Valley going to polls next month.
Sampooran Kashmir Sangathan (SKS) chairman Anoop Kaul has said that the Core Committee of the organization which met at Union Capital today under his chairmanship has decided to field Rakesh Kaul president SKS and former president Kashmir Samiti Delhi as its candidate for Parliamentary seat of Anantnag. He said Kaul had contested the Assembly elections from Pahalgam Assembly Constituency in 1996 on BJP ticket.
National secretary SKS Bharat Kachroo has also appealed the Kashmiri Pandits and other nationalist people from Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency to support Kaul whole heartedly.
Meanwhile All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) has also decided to field its candidate from two Parliamentary seats in Kashmir in case BJP does not field its own candidates.
In a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Desh Rattan the AMCCC has decided to field its own candidates in case BJP supports its alliance partner.
The meeting accused the Kashmir centric parties of their duel character who it alleged have always misled the people on Kashmir issue by giving contradictory statements when out of power.
The meeting among others was attended by B L Koul, K V Kumar, R L Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Bharat Gosani, Bushan Koul, C L Raina, P N Jalali, Daizy Bazaz and others said that it will decide the names of candidates within one or two days for Lok Sabha seat of Srinagar and Anantnag.
