SRINAGAR : Security forces today arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGW) of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) from Amargrah Tarzoo in north Kashmir district of Baramulla and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition from them.
Security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint operation at Amargrah Tarzoo in Sopore, following a tip off about the presence of some militants, official sources said here.
During the operation, Tanveer Ahmad and Showkat, who were reportedly close associates of a top HM commander, were arrested, the sources added. They said the accused are being questioned. (AGENCIES)
