KATRA, Feb 14: Katra Police today arrested two drug peddlers and seized 350 gms of Charas from their possession.
Police party, led by SHO Katra, Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, under the supervision of SDPO Dr Ashok Sharma and Addl SP Sumir Kotwal, laid a special naka at Katra town near Varun Chowk. During checking, two drug peddlers, namely Surjeet Singh of Kandyar Katra and Sagar Sharma of Kandyar were apprehended. 18 Chhallian (weighing 350gms with cover) of Charas were recovered from their possession.
In this connection, a case under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra.
