SAMBA, Jan 7: A Police party of Police Station Ramgarh headed by SI Bansi Lal, SHO Ramgarh in close co-ordination with DSB Samba and under the direct supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur intercepted one Suraj Kumar S/o Ram Lal R/o Chattisgarh A/P Ramgarh from Truta Morh Ramgarh on suspicious ground.
Police during frisking recovered 20 gms of ganja from his possession. In this regard case FIR No. 01/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation is going on.
Meanwhile, Ramgarh police apprehended one person during patrolling at Truta Morh Ramgarh namely Suraj Kumar S/o Ram Lal R/o Chattisgarh A/P Ramgarh. During his search police recovered 20 grams of ganja from his possession. In this regard a case FIR No 01/18 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Ramgarh against him.
The drive against the drug menace in the district ahs been launched under the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra.
