RAMBAN , May 18: To check punctuality of employees and take stock of services delivery system, District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today conducted surprise visits at District Hospital Ramban, Trauma Centre and Government Higher Secondary School Ramban here today.
During inspection two doctors of DH Ramban including Dental Surgeon Dr. Sanjay Sharma and Ophthalmologist Surgeon Dr. Mohd Rafiq were found absent from duty and placed under suspension with immediate effect besides calling their explanation.
At Trauma Centre and District Hospital, the DDC interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them. He directed Medical Superintendent to provide better facilities to the patients besides minimize the referral system.
Later, DDC visited Government Higher Secondary School Ramban and checked the attendance of teachers. He assessed staff position in the school, accommodation, toilet and drinking water facilities. He stressed upon the teachers to ensure that the children are provided quality education.
DDC asked the teacher fraternity to encourage quality conversation in the classes besides focus should be laid on bringing the innovations in the learning and teaching process.
