UDHAMPUR, Apr 24: The District police rescued three bovine animals which were being smuggled to Kashmir Valley.
In this connection, police have also arrested two bovine smugglers, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed and Sabar Ali of Peera Ramban.
The smuggling bid was foiled during a naka on Langeh-Ramnagar link road by Ramnagar Police following specific information. The bovines were being smuggled on foot, police said.
A case under section 188/RPC has been registered at Police Station Ramnagar.
