JAMMU, Sept 1: Institute of Finance Banking & Insurance (IFBI), Jammu Branch, has yet again got placed 14 more students in ICICI Bank, largest private sector bank in India.
This latest batch of students would be joining as Officers Trainees in ICICI Bank at various locations. Initially the pay package after internship will be approximately Rs 2.4 lacs annually. These students will assume duties from September 2, 2015.
Rahul Sharma, CEO of the NIIT Jammu franchisee company, presided over the function and handed over the Appointment Letters to these candidates. He also advised the selected candidates not only to be sincere and hardworking but also perform their duties honesty to the best interests of clients of the bank.
IFBI was formed in 2006 as a joint venture of NIT Ltd, a leading Global Talent Development Corporation-Asia’s largest IT trainer and ICICI Bank, to meet the manpower challenges of multi skilled and trained professionals in fast evolving sector of Banking Financial Services and Insurance.
IFBI is in 9th year of successful journey and has trained over 125000 BFSI professionals through corporate programme and over 32500 IFBI students got placed in leading BFSI organizations. IFBI created a unique concept of `Offer Letter’ at the time of enrollment for training programme-PGDBO. Thereafter, the students undergo training for three months, followed by paid internship. IFBI is rated as Best Training School in the Banking and Financial Services domain by the week- Nielson Survey of May 2009. It is currently India’s largest Banking Education and Training Institution.
IFBI Jammu Branch has completed its 4 years of operation and has also trained and placed more than 350 students with ICICI Bank alone along with some placements done in other BFSI companies.
