13 bovines rescued, 2 arrested

JAMMU, Apr 25: Bagh-e-Bahu police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 13 cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station rescued 13 bovine animals and seized two vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02BP-3056 and JK14D-6296.
Police also arrested two bovine smugglers, who have been identified as Makhan, son of Mohammad Yousaf of Laswara Bishnah and Gafoor.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu SI Bimal Indu foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
