115 Sikh devotees leave for Pak

JAMMU, Apr 10: As many as 115 Sikh devotees have left from this winter capital of the state for Pakistan to participate in Baisakhi celebrations.
The devotees whose visas were cleared, late last evening left for Amritsar, from where, they will proceed to Pakistan via Attari border, Jaswinder Singh, member Jammu and Kashmir Gurudwara Prabandhak Board said.
“The authorities had cleared 125 visas but only 115 devotees are going to Pakistan and they will return on April 19,” he added.
He said the ‘sangat’ will join other fellowmen from Punjab tomorrow at Attari station to leave for ‘Shri Panja Sahib’ to participate in a grand function on April 13.
“Besides paying obeisance at ‘Panja Sahib’, the devotees will also visit Shri Nankana Sahib, Gurudwara Dera Sahib, Lahore, Kartar Pur and other adjoining Gurudwaras during their week-long stay in Pakistan,” he added.
