JAMMU, Dec 10: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association will staged a protest dharna near Press Club, Jammu against the State Government for not clearing their pending dues.
Addressing a meeting of VRS employees, president, VRS Union, Dev Raj Bali said “We have been duped by the Government, as it was promised to clear/settle all accounts in all respects of one who take VRS/GHS but it is sorry to state that we are still struggling for our dues”
They strongly criticized the discriminating attitude of Government and SRTC department towards VRS and GHS employees and demanded to clear all their pending dues including COLA and 6th Pay Commission arrears.
The association appealed all VRS/GHS employees to attend the proposed dharna against the Government near Press Club Jammu on December 14 at 10 am so that a strong signal reaches to the deaf ears of the Government.
