JAMMU, Jan 19: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 50 years was recovered today from the jurisdiction of police post Canal Road.
According to a police spokesman, the dead body of a man appears to be a ‘Sadhu’ was spotted this evening by some passersby near Irrigation Office in Canal Road area.
He said that the dead body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and post mortem.
In this connection, inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPc has been initiated by the police.
