MENDHAR, Sept 27: Unemployed youth from Mendhar Sub Division today held protest against the RDD authorities for the alleged back door appointments under MG-NREGA in Balakote and Mendhar blocks in the recently.
The youth were shouting slogans against the concerned Block and District level officers demanding inquiry into the matter. They alleged that family members and relatives of the employees of the department were engaged while many youth of the area having higher qualifications were left out.
After staging protest for some time at the main chowk, the protesting youth then moved to the office of SDM Mendhar, Rahul Yadav and submitted a memorandum to him demanding an inquiry. The SDM assured to hold probe into the matter.
