Two unknown male bodies found

JAMMU, Nov 30: An unknown male body was found today from a house in Sidhra area of city outskirts while another unidentified male body was found near Asia hotel.
According to a police spokesman, the decomposed body of an unknown man of about 30-35 years of age was found today from House No 22, Tawi Vihar Colony. He said that the house belongs to a retired KAS officer namely Feroz Ahmed son of Ahmed Din, who was presently staying at Leh with his family.
The spokesman added that the house was locked from outside and when son of the retired KAS officer, Sohail Ahmed (a serving KAS officer) reached home last night he sensed some foul smell coming from the house and informed the police.
“The police reached the spot along with FSL team and shifted the decomposed body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem”, he said, adding, the body might be of their household servant namely Ananda (30) of Orissa, but it will be clear only after DNA test as the body is completely decomposed and could not be identified.
Another body of an unknown man of age about 35-38 years was found today under Vikram Chowk-Gandhi Nagar flyover under pillar No 36. About 5 feet 6 inches tall and weatish in complexion, the man was wearing a T-shirt, grey colour Pant and blue-black shoes. The body was shifted to mortuary room of GMC&H for identification and post mortem.
The concerned police have taken cognizance and started investigations in both the cases.
