JAMMU, May 31: One unidentified and decomposed female body was found today on the bank of Tawi river near Gujjar Nagar bridge while the dead body of an unknown man was found from river Chenab in Khour area of Akhnoor.
According to a police spokesperson, the decomposed dead body of an unknown female about 30-35 years was today spotted by some passersby along the wall of University of Jammu on Tawi river side near Gujjar Nagar bridge.
He said on getting information from them, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem.
Meanwhile, the dead body of a man of age about 35 years was also found along the Chenab River in the jurisdiction of police station Khour and shifted it to mortuary room of GMC&H for identification and post mortem.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
