REASI, Feb 10: Police arrested two cousin brothers and recovered cannabis from their possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Sullah Nallah, a team from Reasi Police Station intercepted an Alto car bearing registration number JK20-7989.
During checking, police recovered cannabis from the possession of the two persons traveling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Anil Kumar, son of Ram Lal and Ramesh Kumar Rahul, son of Dhani Ram, both residents of Geeta Nagar, District Reasi. Both the arrested persons are cousin brothers, sources said, adding that initially Anil Kumar tried to dodge by showing them camera and mike of a news portal ‘JKAC’.
A case under FIR Number 28/19 under section 8/15/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Reasi Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by ASI HR Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of Dr Nikhil Gogna DySP Headquarters Reasi, Shiv Kumar Chouhan Additional SP Reasi and Nisha Nathyal SSP Reasi.
