KISHTWAR, Dec 4: Police arrested two persons along with cannabis.
As per police spokesman, on specific information, a team from Mughal Maidan Police post laid a naka in Sangamvatti area and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 1.100 kilograms of cannabis from their possession and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Liyaqat Ali, son of Ghulam Hussan and Tanvir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Hassan, both residents of Sigdi, Chatroo.
A case under FIR Number 86/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Chatroo Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Mughal Maidan Police Post SI Arun Bhagat made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary.
