KATHUA, Apr 23: The newly appointed SSP Kathua Shridhar Patil today launched a drive against the road Romeos, the negligent and rash driving of motor cyclists in the towns of Lakhanpur, Kathua, Rajbagh and Hiranagar.
During the drive 33 motor cycles were sized in these towns by police while 26 two wheeler riders were challaned for wrong driving and not containing the relevant documents etc.
The SSP has warned strict action against those youth especially teenagers driving the two wheelers rashly and in a negligent way by doing stunts which often results in accidents and loss of precious lives.
