JAMMU Jan 24: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today unveiled an exhibition of portraits of Governor, N N Vohra, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi, Council of Ministers and former Chief Ministers, Mufti Mohammad Syeed and Omar Abdullah in the Central Hall of the Legislature.
The exhibition has been organized by a local artist namely Muneer Khan, who himself has drawn the portraits of all these dignitaries. The exhibition was witnessed by the Ministers, MLAs and visitors and they appreciated the work of the artist.
The Speaker appreciated the effort and hard work of the artist for presenting extraordinary art skills.
The Speaker also inaugurated the portraits of legislators who have received best legislators’ award from 2000 onward in the Central Hall.
