SRINAGAR, Dec 14: PCC president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz today addressed public rally at Ompora in Budgam and also interacted with the people, who apprized him of the local issues such as dilapidated electric infrastructure, extreme shortage of drinking water in several areas in Budgam, poor condition of roads and no sports facilities for the youth.
Prof Soz assured the people that he would urge the Minister of PHE & Irrigation to visit Budgam tomorrow to take stock of the situation in respect of deficient drinking water in some areas and impure supply of drinking water in other areas of Budgam district. He assured people that their difficulties would be taken up with the concerned departments for their resolution.
The rally was organized by Zahid Hussain Jan, district president Budgam and also addressed by Ghulam Nabi Monga, Master Mohd Maqbool, Farooq Andrabi, Shameema Raina, Shameema Sopori, Jawahira Bano and Anees Gul.
